Rapidox SF6 6100 Pump Back Gas Analyser

The Rapidox SF6 6100 Pump Back Gas Analyser Portable is designed for controlling and monitoring the quality of SF₆ in MV & HV gas insulated electrical equipment. Exceptional accuracy and stability are provided when measuring the purity of SF₆ gas, through specially selected sensors. A gas output nozzle allows for the analyser to be attached to the Rapidox Gas Recovery Bag, ensuring that all sampled SF₆ gas is recovered.

Internal SF₆ gas pressure is recorded and logged by the analyser. All measured gases are analysed and data-logged simultaneously with only a few minutes required to achieve a stable reading. In order to accelerate the time taken in-between dew point readings, a unique Rapidri system is fitted to analysers measuring H₂O. When not in use the sensor can be isolated via the ‘Run – Storage’ valve.

Other measurable gases include H₂O (dew point), SO₂, HF, O₂ & CF₄. Due to the instruments modular design, a number of configurations are available in order to suit a variety of application requirements.

Rapidox SF₆ 6100 Accessories

A range of accessories is available for the Rapidox SF₆ 6100 gas analysers. These include special tongue and groove self sealing couplings (compatible with famous brands) as well as a range of stainless steel braided sampling hoses for use with SF₆ gas-insulated equipment.

The Rapidox SF6 6100 Pump Back Gas Analyser is also available as a complete and portable kit that allows users to carry all of their required equipment within a heavy-duty IP66 case. Each kit contains a set of fittings with a stainless steel braided hose, a handle fitted to the analyser and a separate thermal printer.

Once connected, the Rapidox SF6 6100 Pump Back samples gas from the electrical equipment automatically or manually, with an inlet auto gas pressure sensing function. A vacuum purge cycle and gas storage system ensures that no air can contaminate the gas sample and that no SF6 gas is able to escape during the testing period.

SF6 gas pressure in the internal sample compartment is recorded and logged by the analyser. All measured gases are analysed and data-logged simultaneously with only a few minutes required to achieve a stable reading.
